Checking In With QR Code Scanning

Upon installing the b2match Entrance app, you can immediately begin checking in participants. The app offers two options for participant check-in: manual check-in and QR code scanning.

In this article, we will guide you through the process of checking in participants using QR code scanning. 

How can participants get their QR code?

Participants can obtain their QR code through three different methods:

  • Downloading the b2match mobile app
  • Accessing the QR code from the badge you created using our Badge Editor feature
  • Receiving the QR code via email sent through the Organizer's tool.

How can I check in participants with QR code?

First, open the b2match Entrance app. 

Tap on the scan icon located in the middle of the bottom bar to open the scanner.

Within the scanner, you have three options:

  • Find: Scan the participant's QR code to open their profile preview and view their check-in history.
  • Check In: Check the participant into the selected location.
  • Check Out: Check the participant out from the selected location.

Tip: You can change the location directly from the scanner by tapping on the location displayed at the top of the screen, which will open the Change My Location modal.

To use the scanner, simply point your camera at the participant's QR code, and the selected action at the bottom of the screen will be executed.

Upon successful completion of an action, a pop-up notification will appear, confirming the operation's success.

QR scanning enables quicker participant check-ins and check-outs, eliminating the need to switch screens, manually search for participants, or press additional buttons.
