In this article, we will guide you through the process of importing contacts, enabling you to send personalized invitations for your upcoming event. Say goodbye to manually entering contact details and welcome a more efficient way to invite your valued attendees.
How can I import contacts to my new event?
First, click on Import on the left sidebar of the Organizer’s Tool.
This will open Imported Contacts, which displays a list of your imported contacts.
Next, click on the Import Contacts button in the top right corner of the screen.
You can either import contacts from previous events or import contacts by using Microsoft Excel.
Select the desired method and click on Continue.
Once you've completed the import process, you'll have access to a detailed list of all your imported contacts, including their email addresses, names, and organization names.
For your imported contacts to register to your event, you need to send event invitations.
Imported contacts who haven't received an invitation yet will be highlighted in orange. Next to their name, you'll see the label Not invited.
For the imported contacts to whom you've sent an invitation, they will be highlighted in blue. Next to their name, you'll find the label Invited, along with the count of invitations sent.
Contacts who have accepted your invitation and registered for the event will be highlighted in green. Next to their name, you'll see the label Registered. These participants will also be visible in the Organizer's Tool, under Participants.
Located at the top of the screen, you'll find a range of filtering options to refine your participant search. These filters allow you to narrow down participants based on criteria such as name, status, country, participation type, import source, and date.
