Managing Badges

Effectively managing badges is a critical aspect of running a smooth credential system. With b2match's diverse set of features, the task becomes more streamlined and hassle-free.

In this article, we will explore all the badge management options offered by b2match.

How can I manage badges?

First, click on Badges on the left sidebar of the Organizer’s Tool. This grants you access to the comprehensive list of all your created badges.

Here, you have various options at your disposal to manage your badges effectively.

Settings

To modify badge details, click on the Settings button. This will present you with an interface like the badge creation process.

Customize the title, choose badge sides, select badge format, and even opt for double-sided printing.

Save your changes by clicking the Save button or exit without saving by clicking Cancel. To delete a badge, use the Delete button.

Duplicate

To create a copy of an existing badge, simply click on the Duplicate button.

The new badge will be titled Copy of [Badge Name], allowing you to make any desired modifications.

Download

To acquire a badge, simply click on the Prepare PDF option. The system will then generate the badges. Once the process is complete, you can proceed to click the Download button.

Note: It's important to remember that if you make any modifications to a previously downloaded badge, you must prepare it again with the updated changes. To do this, click the Download button, and from the dropdown menu, select Prepare new.

After you download the PDF document, you are now ready to print the badges.

Tip: Ensure that the printing settings maintain a scale of 100% for optimal results.

Active

By default, badges are inactive, meaning participants cannot access or download them independently. If you wish to grant participants the ability to download their own badges, you can activate a specific badge.

To activate a badge, simply tick the Active box next to it.

How can participants get access to their badges?

Participants can download their badges anytime from their dashboard.

To download the badge, a participant needs to click on the Download Badge button on the left side of their dashboard. Participants can then easily print their badges individually using their printer.
