Testing Payments

Once you have configured ticketing settings, you may wish to test how payment works before your event goes live. This ensures that the payment process is functioning correctly before you start selling tickets.

Testing Payment via Stripe

First, go to your event’s registration page and start registering as a participant.

Once you’ve entered the test participant’s credentials, choose a ticket, and click on Continue.

Next, fill out the mandatory fields in the Create your profile section, and then click on Continue to proceed to checkout.

To test payment via Stripe, choose Credit card as your payment option. 

Use the following mock card details: Card Number - 4242 4242 4242 4242; Expiration Date and CVC - any random numbers.

Finalize the payment by clicking on the Pay button

Payments made via credit card are automatically processed, and the payment status in b2match is updated accordingly. You can see all your payments in the Payments tab

Test payments will have the test label displayed next to the invoice number.

Testing Payment via Invoice

First, go to your event’s registration page and start registering as a participant.

Once you’ve entered the test participant’s credentials, select the attendance type, choose a ticket, and click on Continue.

Next, fill out the mandatory fields in the Create your profile section, and then click on Continue to proceed to checkout. 

To test out payment via Invoice, choose Bank transfer as your payment option. 

Then, click on Confirm & Continue

The participant will be redirected to the Participant Dashboard with a warning message, instructing them to complete payment by transferring the amount to the bank account specified in the Preliminary bill document.

In the Payments tab, you can automatically see the test payment without the invoice number with the test label and a pending status.

After a participant transfers the amount to your bank account, you should manually mark it as paid in the Organizer’s tool.
