To ensure smooth event organization, different people are responsible for various tasks. In your workspace, there are three types of users: owners, managers, and guests.
How can I view workspace members?
First, click on your workspace logo in the upper left corner.
Then, from the drop-down menu, select Members.
This will open a new page where you can see all the members and guests collaborating in the workspace.
Here, you will find information such as full name, role, status, joined date, and who invited them.
To view guests, click on Guests to open a separate list of guest members.
What are the different roles inside a workspace?
In a workspace, there are 2 different roles: members and guests.
Members
Members are users that have access to all events and communities within a workspace. There are 2 types of member roles:
The owner of a workspace can edit or delete the workspace and manage all its information.
A manager can access all information and manage all events assigned to the workspace.
Guests
Guests are users that can only manage a specific events or communities they are invited to organize, either as a main organizer or supporting organizer. To learn more, check out our article Understanding organizer roles.
If you wish to allow a guest access to all events within your workspace, you can always promote them to a member role.
To do this, locate the guest on the Guests page, click on the 3 dots next to their name, and select Promote to member.
A modal window will appear, asking you to confirm that the guest will gain access to manage all events.
To proceed, tick the checkboxes, and click on Yes, promote.
How can I see information about a member?
To see more information about a workspace member, simply click on their name in the workspace. This will open the Member info sidebar.
The Details tab will show information such as the members’ email and organization.
The Role tab allows you to remove a member by clicking on the Remove member button.
Note: You can only view information about members that already have a b2match Organizer's account.
Filtering Members
Workspace members can be filtered by role and status.
To filter members, click on the wanted filter and select the option you want. The workspace will then display only the members matching this filter.
Warning: Multiple filters are currently impossible. You can only apply one filter at a time.
