Understanding b2match licenses
Before you start organizing events or hosting your digital community on the b2match platform, it's helpful to understand your b2match license and the technical details that come with it. That way, you'll always know what’s included and how everything works.
Where can I view my b2match license?
First, click on your workspace logo in the upper left corner.
From the drop-down menu, click on Plan.
Note: Keep in mind that only the workspace owner can view information about the b2match license.
On the Plan page, you’ll see your license types: single or multi-event license.
Each individual license card displays several important details about your license.
You’ll see the license name, its status (active or expired), and the expiration date.
Next, you’ll find the Current usage section on the license card. This section gives you a quick overview of how many participant seats have been used and how many are still available within your license.
The number of participant seats available is tied to your license—not to individual events (unless you have a single-event license).
Note: A participant seat is considered used once you've validated the participant in the Organizer’s tool.
Add-ons
Add-ons are additional feature packages that you can purchase to customize your license and unlock more options for your event.
The available add-ons depend on your license type—some are already included in higher-tier plans.
If you're interested in a specific add-on and would like to add it to your plan, contact us at success@b2match.com.
What happens when my license expires?
All b2match licenses are valid for 12 months after you sign the quote.
30 days before your license expires, a notification will appear on your workspace dashboard letting you know that your license is about to expire.
Note: Only the workspace owner can renew the license. To renew it, click the Contact us button or send us an email at success@b2match.com. If you're a workspace member and you see the expiration message, please reach out to your workspace owner.
Once the license expires and becomes inactive, you won’t be able to create new events or publish existing ones.
Previously published events will remain visible, and you can still customize them. Any scheduled event activities from before the license expired, as well as post-event features (like open virtual networking), will still be accessible to you and your participants.
After your license expires, you won’t be able to publish existing events that are in demo or create new ones.
You’ll also see a notification on the workspace dashboard informing you that your license has expired. This message will remain visible for 365 days after the expiration date. You can dismiss it by clicking the x.
Note: If you delete your browser cookies, the message about the expired license will reappear, since cookies store the preference to hide it.
If you're working on an event that's still in demo mode and you don’t notice in time that your license has expired, you won’t be able to publish the event until you purchase a new license.
