# Assigning location to session
Once you have **[created & edited your session locations](https://support.b2match.com/en/creating-editing-session-location?hsLang=en)**, you need to assign them to specific sessions to ensure your participants always know where the next session is taking place and don't get lost wandering around a large venue.
### How can I assign a location to a session?
To assign a location to a **In-person session**, start by navigating to the **Agenda** section in the **left sidebar** of the Organizer's Tool and selecting **Sessions**.
From the list of sessions, click on the **in-person session** you want to edit. This will open a sidebar on the right-hand side of the screen, where you can adjust the session details.
Once the sidebar is open, go to the **Format** tab. Here, you will see the session format already set to **In-person**.
Below that, there is a **Location** dropdown field. Click on the dropdown and select the appropriate location from the available list of your created Locations.
After choosing the location, the session will be updated to reflect this change. Make sure to save the changes, and you’re all set!
The location you assign will now appear as part of the session details, ensuring participants can easily identify where the session will take place.
