Once you have configured the opportunity types for the event the participants will be able to choose from when creating their own marketplace opportunity, the participants can create their marketplace opportunities on the event website.
After a participant creates a marketplace opportunity, it needs to be validated to show up on the Marketplace page on the event website.
There are two different opportunity validation options: automatic and manual.
How can I configure opportunity validation option?
First, click on Configuration on the left sidebar of the Organizer’s Tool.
Then, from the Participant section, navigate to Registration Settings.
In the Registration Settings page, scroll down to the Marketplace Opportunity Validation section.
Here, select the validation option that best suits your needs.
The Marketplace opportunities are automatically validated option publishes opportunities as they're created.
The Manually validate marketplace opportunities option allows you to review and personally validate opportunities, providing you better control over the opportunities.
How can I validate opportunities manually?
If you've selected the Manually validate marketplace opportunities option, once a participant creates an opportunity, you'll need to review it and make the decision to publish it or not.
When manually activating marketplace opportunities, you can configure notifications that will alert organizers by sending them an email whenever someone creates a new opportunity. This notification ensures organizers stay informed at all times and can respond promptly.
You have 3 options for validating an opportunity.
Marketplace
Click on Marketplace on the left sidebar of the Organizer’s tool.
This will open the Marketplace page displaying all opportunities your participants have created.
To validate an opportunity, click on the 3 dots next to the opportunity.
From the drop-down menu, click on Publish.
Participant Profile Overview
Click on Participants on the left sidebar of the Organizer’s Tool.
From the participants list, click on a participant’s name to open their profile overview sidebar.
Here, navigate to the Marketplace tab to view their created opportunities.
To edit an opportunity, click on the pencil icon on the opportunity card.
To publish an opportunity, simply click the toggle switch on the opportunity card.
Organization Profile Overview
If a participant chooses to make their marketplace opportunity visible on the organization page, you can also validate the opportunity from the list of organizations.
Start by clicking on Organizations on the left sidebar of the Organizer’s Tool.
Then, choose an organization from the organizations list to open their organization's profile overview.
Access the Marketplace tab, where you can see all opportunities that are connected to the organization.
To validate an opportunity, simply click the toggle switch.
